Financial Projections

We aim to raise ZAR 50 000 0000 (Fifty Million South African Rand) during this first round, with 100 000 (One Hundred Thousand) Shares available. The investment equates to ZAR 500 per share.

The total capitalized shares for this round will be 100 000 (One Hundred Thousand)

Assumptions & Inputs

  • Timeline: IP investments typically provide returns after 3-5 years
  • Number of Research Projects: We plan to accept at least 10 projects per year that have a very good chance of being Patented.
  • Success Rate: The Aim is to commercialize 2 Patents minimum per year
  • Licensing Fees: The Licencing fees paid to licence patents will be negotiated on a per case basis, and where the 5-year projection exceeds 70% of the share capital shareholding input would be requested.
  • Royalty Rates: Where Royalties is negotiated on the patents, the per unit revenue would be distributed equally per share issued, bi-annually.
  • Operating Expenses: This would include facilities, equipment requirements, salaries and day to day expenses. Annual Budgets will be available for shareholder input during the AGM.
  • Business Incubator Revenue: Here we anticipate revenue share from businesses that is brought into existence via the business incubator programs.

Additional Considerations by Investors

  • Sensitivity Analysis: Perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of changes in key assumptions (e.g., success rates, licensing fees).
  • Tax Implications: Consider the tax impact on revenue and net income.

Key Metrics

  • Cumulative Revenue: Total revenue generated over the projection period will be reported annually.
  • Internal Rate of Return (IRR): A metric for evaluating the profitability of investments to be reported on annually.
